.
Today is my birthday

Nothing special plan or nothing special happened, just a normal day

there is a time when i feel a bit jealous looking at others during their birthday. full of present, surround by friends and family. surprises  everywhere. breakfast, lunch and dinner treat.

but then i realized, we dont have a same live with other. we have our own live. but i do feel grateful because I still have a family and friends that want to spend their time writing birthday wish to me on social media.

and i dont know why..

this year i dont feel excited waiting for 25th september to come

maybe im more worried with my study that i cant see where and when it will end. and how.. *sigh*

i really hope my journey will be eased and i can finish it as soon as possible

and really hope i can earn my own money by working in my dream job or just a good job by next year. please make doa for me. 😀😀

still.. i dont have any boyfriend to celebrate my birthday this year.. but i hope next year, im going to have more friends.. 😉

one more things that i realized for this few days and make me think. The older we get, the less time we left to be in this world. The death is coming in his way, nearer. so, i keep telling myself, pleasee be a good Muslim, be a good daughter, be a good sister, be a good friends, be a good student. spread love, stop hating people. and enjoy my life even though it is not as fun as others. still, its my path.. and the most important thing.. take a good care of my self, my body, my health. the most expensive things and hardest things to take care of.

..birthday present.. Yeaayy!

Assalamualaikum..

Sorry.. Keep updating my blog lately..well, since my nokia 3310 have been modified to be a smart phone (di harap jangan ada yang percaya), why must I not use this oppurtunity? N what for i pay the maxis data plan if i not use it..

However im quite dissapointed with the maxis service.. I already paid rm8 for 100mb but everytime I access internet, they also will deduct my credit n the usage of the internet.. So, seems i need to top up a lot..

Ok.. Look like too many crap thing have been write.. Back to main point

just want to share that what have i been order already delivered yesterday.. So, I assume this is my birthday present.. Weeeee~~~

it is very difficult to find this book in Kuching.. I had went to all bookstore around n never meet it once.. So, i just decided to bought it online at mph click.

From a few day ago until 30th september mph having promotion where they give a free delivery all over Malaysia. You only need to pay the price of the book only.So, if u have any plan to buy any books or accesories or any goods sell at the mph store, go and buy it quickly before the promotion end.

pagi nie just nak share something yang bila dihayati memberi kesan di hati.. sebuah karya Dorothy Law Nolte.. actually poem nie uncle miera jumpa bergantung kat salah sebuah klinik kanak-kanak di Kuching.. n dier cakap sebuah sajak yang bagus..

saya sangat tertarik beberapa bait..

cuba kita perhatikan sekeliling kita sekarang. apa yang kita tahu hanyalah mengkritik orang lain. jadi, tak mustahil anak-anak hari ini hanya tahu menjatuhkan orang lain.. bak kata pepatah, anak-anak umpama kaih putih, dan ibu bapa lah yang mencorakkan kain putih tersebut. andai dari kecik dah di ajar tak baik, dah besar, dia pon jadi tak baik, dengki sana, dengki sini, fitnah sana, fitnah sini.. nauzubillah...

sama-sama lah kita menunjukkan sifat yang baik untuk melahirkan anak-anak yang mempunyai sifat yang terpuji.. ^_^

..U're The One That I Don't Want..

sorry sebab memungkiri janji.. (macam la ada urang maca blog aku oh?) so, now i would like to present to u my review about the book i read recently.. (sorry kalau english berterabur.. saya memang bangang english.. tapi saya sedang memperbaiki nya. =) )


for today, i would like to write something about Alexandra Potter's novel entitled "You're The One That I Don't Want".. a very interesting books which make you felt addicted to turn next page..

this book is a story about one young lady name Lucy.. she had been in love with a very charming young corn man, Nate. both of them are an art's lover and have been met during the short art course in Venice.

one day, while they are having fun at venice, someone had tell them about the magical kiss at the bridge somewhere in the Venice. this magical kiss will make them be together for the entire life..

10 years later.. they dont even met each other after the short course end. their long distance relationship only can be remain in a short period. however, Lucy always dream about Nate and believe that Nate is her soulmate.

the story about the magical kiss is seems to be true when both of them met again and both of them believe that their are meant to be with each other. but, they find something wrong about the relationship and make a decision to break up..

unluckily, they keep turn up to be in the same place at the same time. both of them tried very hard to avoid each other, but the bond looks like very difficult to be broke.. Lucy have tried a lot of things to get rid of the "curse" that make them can't be apart.

can them dispel the curse? or will them be together forever? just go to the bookstore and get it by yourself.. you will not regret spending ur money to this amazing book..

my opinion about this book and the writer:

I think the writer can be as good as Cecilia Ahern and Sophie Kinsella. the way she write up the story can make u sink deep inside the whole story and make you feel that you are Lucy or one of her friend.. And for someone who not-really-good-and-understand-english just like me, i found that it is not difficult at all to understand the whole stories and i really enjoy reading it. Nice story line, nice writing and very interesting coincidence happen all along the novel that will make me laugh or scream by myself while reading this..

p/s: Tq to my friend, Siti Sabariah whom very kind allow me borrowed this amazing novel.. kelak2 ku pinjam lagik ah buku lain.. heee =)

tengah hari tadi (Jumaat, 17.12.10) *entry ini telah dischedulekan..harap maklum* miera telah diajak oleh my aunty ngan anak dier pergi tengok wayang.. cite ape??

-THE CHRONICLE OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER-

siyesly, miera tak minat sangat tengok cite-cite macam nie. tengok-tengok macam tue jek, boleh lah. tapi nak g panggung tengok movie macam nie, kurreenngg berminat sikit.

kalau miera sendiri lah kan, miera tak berape gemar la nak tengok cite orang puteh kat panggung. sebabnyer ade 2 jek. 1st, dalam internet berlambak, boleh gak jimat duit nak beli tiket. 2nd dah name pon cite orang puteh kan, dah sah-sah orang puteh pon banyak yang menonton, so even korang tak pergi tengok pon still dorang ade penonton yang sendiri. lagipun kalau filem dorang box office pon, bukan dorang ade bagitaw terima kasih buat penonton2 di Malaysia.. kan?? itu just pandangan miera lah. kalau korang tak setuju pon, never mind, duit korang yang kuar g panggung.

setakat nie, miera lebih suke tengok movie hollywood/bollywood just dari internet or vcd jek. semenjak dah pandai masuk panggung sendiri nie (walaupon jarang, setaun sekali jek masok panggung), miera prefer masuk panggung untuk filem-filem melayu yang miera rase berkualiti dan keutamaan untuk filem bergenre komedi. kalau romantik tue, tak minat sangat la. sebab rase tak berbaloi jek keluar duit tuk tengok filem-filem Malaysia yang berunsur romantik ntah hape-hape tue. jalan cite, semua hampir same. anak orang kaya, joli sana, joli sini, sakit, gaduh, rempit sana, gaduh sini, judi sana dan dedah sana sini. lagi best layan Oh Yeah! kat Astro Warna. leh gelak guling-guling.

ok.. back to the story. miera just pernah tengok 1st filem untuk Narnia. tue pon kat TV hari tue dan sudah semestinya tak tengok dari awal sampai habis. tengok cikit-cikit jek. ok lah, not bad yang 1st tue. dan diakui miera memang tak ikut perkembangan movie nie.

tadi pon sebab ade orang nak belanja dan miera pon dah lame tak tengok wayang, on sajaa.. ok lah cite narnia yang ke 3 nie. tapi rasenyer yang 1st lagi best kowt. yang 2nd miera tak pernah tengok. miera suke tengok harimau (Aslan) jek dalam narnia nie.

mengisahkan pengembaraan Edmund dan Lucy serta sorang watak tambahan, sepupu dorang (Eustace) ke Narnia. abang n kakak dorang tak der dah, dorang dah dewasa, so tak leh geng ngan budak-budak dah. hehehe.. kali nie, pengembaraan dorang adalah di lautan. mengisahkan dorang belayar untuk ke "hujung-dunia" di mana dipercayai negara Aslan. di samping tue, dorang gak ade misi sendiri di mana dorang kene carik ke tujuh-tujuh pedang sakti yang diperlukan untuk menghapus kuasa jahat.

nak taw lebih lanjut, glah tengok cite nie sendiri.. ^_^

lagi yang menarik tentang movie nie: PRINCE CASPIAN tersangat lah hensem. ade tak sesiapa yang macam dier kat Malaysia nie??? =p

next week mesti gak tengok Hantu Kak Limah.. biar sorang-sorang kat panggung. tetap gak akan pergi.. nak pergi tadi, tapi cite tue start pukul 2. and my aunty memang tak nak langsung masuk panggung tuk cite melayu. dier cakap macam tak berbaloi jek. lagi pon dier bukan nyer amek kesah langsung pasal jalan cerita, dier nak tengok gambar yang cantik jek.

oh.. dalam panggung tadi tak sampai 10 orang pon penonton. maybe sebab bukan hujung minggu+tengah hari+hari jumaat+solat jumaat. so, selesa lah dan lagi satu kitorang masok panggung lewat 10 minit. ngeeee~~~ =p

sekian lame tak buat ape-ape review baik untuk filem mahupun buku... bukan bermaksud miera tak bace buku.. banyak dah novel yang miera dah khatam.. cume mase tak mengizinkan untuk membuat sedikit review

so, hari ini.. miera nak wat review the latest novel yang miera baru habis bace pagi tadi...

novel English.. so.. miera wat review dalam bahase rojak lah k.. coz im really-really not good in English.. as what Johan Raja Lawak always said.."I do speak English... but sometimes BROKEN" hehe..

title of the book that i have read this few days is "10 REASONS NOT TO FALL IN LOVE" , the author of this book is Linda Green..

 

-10 REASONS NOT TO FALL IN LOVE-

a new author for me.. usually i just bought a book from Cecelia Ahern and Sophie Kinsella.. and i think i already had almost all of the Cecelia Ahern's novel.. if i do have time, i will re-read all the novel and give some review here.. =)

what make me "attract" to this book?? of course because of it Title.. 10 reasons not to fall in LOVE..

this novel is about a single mother, Jo who need to take care her son, Alfie all by herself. Her husband, Richard had left two of them on Alfie's first birthday.

Alfie is not their plan. He is accidentally produce when both Jo and Richard still climbing up for their carrier. They are work at the same place, and during the pregnancy, Richard had become Jo's boss.

Jo become very disappointed with Richard's attitude that never try to accept the exist of Alfie and only spent a few time with Alfie.

since then, Jo refuse to accept any relationship with man. She afraid if once she is in a relationship, then the man can't adopt his new life with "an-instant" child, it will hurt Alfie more. Jo think that Alfie already go through a difficult time when growing up without a man called father always beside him.

then, they meet up a "balloon man" called Dan.. and since then Alfie and Dan become friends and indirectly.. Jo need to accept the new man in her life.

in this novel, there are some "flashback" of Dan's childhood. which are not as fun as other kids. At the beginning of  his age, Dan just have a very loving and fun moment with his parent. but then, everything has changed when his Father become aggressive and always drunk.

Dan become a witness of his mother abused by his father. then, he become very traumatic when people keep arguing about their football's team wining or losing the match. this is because, during his childhood, his father will become very angry and will start to abuse Dan's mother whenever Liverpool is losing their match.

and.. how does Dan appearance changes the whole things in Jo and Alfie life?? please get this book.. ^_^

for my opinion.. i do like this book because it tells about the bad effect for children's emotional when they have very bad experience during their childhood. and how the leak of love from parents can cause them to be very aggressive in order to get attention from others.

This book also shows how your parent, especially your mom always try to make and try to look happy in front of you even the reality is they are very2 hurt and their are in very bad condition. our parent also always try their best to protect all their children even putting themselves in danger.

but, there still a little bit of aspect that keep annoying me. This author use a very long sentences to describe something (as i usually do.. =p). and i can't find any sense of humor in his writing. its give me a different experience compare to read Cecelia Ahern or Sophie Kinsella novels..
 
After completing reading this book, i give it 3 and a half star.

p/s: I'm crying during reading this book.. maybe I'm quite sensitive persons.. but it is too sad to imagine hows seriously bad to a children to have very frightening experience looking at his own mother been abused.
